Noh’s dramatic Finale in Malaysia

March 7, 2010

Noh Seung-yul won the Maybank Malaysian Open this week on the european tour. He narrowly defeated fellow Korean KJ Choi. The 18 year old’s outstanding chip on the 18th gave him a 68. The chip came from behind a hospitality tent near the edge of the practice putting green. He made his 4 foot putt for birde. Choi had earlier birdied the last, in not as dramatic fashion, to shoot a 69. He held the clubhouse lead at 13 under. Choi said, “Noh played brilliantly and I have no complaints. He is one of the most powerful young talents coming up. The way that he controls and hits the ball is like no other and I think he has a very bright future.” That is why KJ Choi is and embassador for the game of golf. He is a great sport when he wins and he is a great sport when he loses. But anyways, Congrats Noh Seung-yul.
